"Comfortable"
We had a one night stay here , and found the manager to be friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and we didn't hear any road noise , food in restaurant was lovely with steak perfectly cooked , we would stay here again next time we are in Rocky.

Love the beds always get a good nights sleep little road noise Bathrooms are bright and clean managers are excellent and nothing is a problem.

"Great place to stay in Rocky"
If your in Rocky this is a great place to stay, the rooms are modern and clean and the food here is the best in Rockhampton. We had meals delivered to our room and ate in the restaurant and both times the food was excellent.

"A Pleasant Surprise"
Driving the Bruce Highway into Rockhampton from the South, you are greeted with such an array of Motel choice that it is a bit overwhelming! You pull into the first one without a "No Vacancy" and park alongside all the mining utes.
Well just go a little further to the Rocky Resort - behind the 2 star name lies a 4 star, clean and modern accommodation, and the Cloud 9 restaurant is one of the best dining rooms I have experienced in over 50 years of travelling up and down the Bruce Highway. As a bonus, it appears that the hostess will make you a packed lunch for tomorrow if you ask nicely. Happy to stay at the Rocky Resort again if needing a bed in Rocky
We had a room quite near the front, there was a little road noise, but it mainly came via the adjoining park through the open bathroom window. But it was not intrusive enough for us to wish we asked for a rear room.

"Friendly Staff and Great Food"
Enjoyed the stay at Rocky Resort. The room was clean and reasonably quiet considering the proximity to the Highway. The restaurant had a versatile menu and I found the food was to my liking. I would stay here again.

"Great room and service"
After a long day driving we needed a late night check in to a good bed. The room was lovely clean and beds comfortable and the service was excellent for us arriving so late. We appreciate the ease of check in and the lovely clean room at a good price.

"Recommended"
Late decision to stay overnight in Rockhampton led me to call ahead whilst on the road. The price sounded reasonable but I had a tip that this motel was above average. I was going to be arriving after hours but that wasn't a problem.
It's probably one of the best motels I've ever stayed in for the money.
Looks like it has been refurbished in recent years as the entire interior of the room looked very new and very clean. It's great to have a room where everything works as it's supposed to and doesn't feel or look worn out.
A pet hate of mine is noisy air conditioning but the units in this motel are amazingly quiet. Middle of the night and you wouldn't know they are on, perfect.
Location is right on the highway but it's a 60kmh limit and the traffic is an occasional dull noise at the most, no issues at all.
Other than service stations the nearest shops are about 1km away. Having said that the servos looked to be pretty well stocked, one of them is a Coles Express.
My only regret is I didn't get to try the restaurant as the menu in the room looked great. There's always next time.

"Steak to die for"
Great room with very comfortable bed, very friendly service, terrific restaurant with cute little bar and all at very reasonable price. Highly recommend this motel / restaurant and the steaks were perfect.

"FANTASTIC"
We come to rocky once a month for business, have stayed other places and never been happy decided to give Rocky Resort Motor Inn a go and this is where we will be from now on! Owners are so lovely and welcoming, room was very clean and nice, best sleep I have had in a long time also. Would not go anywhere else.

"Late checkin"
Quick trip, easy booking on line, price reasonable. Clean comfortable and quiet, everything needed for a busy traveller. Friendly manager helpful with late checkin and efficient checkout. I’d stay there again everything you need nothing else.
